It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve as your State Representative. I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me and for the opportunity to work on your behalf to improve our communities, support our families, and advocate for the issues that matter most to District 47.
Unfortunately, I will not appear on the ballot for the upcoming election. I am truly sorry that I will not be able to continue the work we have started together. Serving you has been a privilege, and stepping away before that work is complete is disappointing for me both personally and professionally.
Throughout my time in office, I remained committed to listening, working across our community, and fighting for practical solutions that would make a positive difference in the lives of the people I was elected to serve. I am proud of what we accomplished together, and those accomplishments were only possible because of the support, encouragement, and involvement of so many dedicated residents, volunteers, community leaders, and friends.
To everyone who stood beside me, offered your ideas, volunteered your time, or simply placed your confidence in me, thank you. Your support has meant more than words can express.
Although I will no longer be serving in this capacity, my commitment to our community remains unchanged. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have represented the people of District 47, and I wish our community continued success in the years ahead.
With sincere gratitude,
Representative Paula Stark
