⭐ Mark your calendars! Invitations will be going out soon for the 3rd Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 65th Infantry Veterans Park. This is a powerful community tradition that brings Osceola residents together to honor our nation’s heroes. Before Paula’s leadership, the Buenaventura Lakes community in Osceola County never had its own Memorial Day observance. Paula saw that gap and took action—establishing a local ceremony so the community would have a meaningful day to remember and honor those who served.
The Memorial Day ceremony has proudly recognized the Borinqueneers—the 65th Infantry Regiment, a historic group of patriots whose service dates back to 1899 and whose bravery and sacrifice are finally receiving the recognition they have long deserved.

Paula has been hard at work requesting critical funding for projects across our district totaling almost $11 million for the 2026 Session:
– $3,500,000 – Boggy Creek Shoal and Vegetation Removal (Osceola County)
– $2,700,000 – Mutter Road Extension (St. Cloud)
– $2,250,000 – Osceola County Courthouse Courtroom
– $750,000 – SDOC 24/7 Security Operations Center
– $500,000 – Community Resilience Hub – Alianza Center
– $500,000 – St. Cloud Hopkins Park Community Center
– $348,825 – McCormick Research Institute: Equine-Assisted Therapy for Veterans
– $250,000 – Re-Entry Center Safety & Security Modernization
– $116,270 – St. Cloud Safety Alerting System
These projects help improve public safety, infrastructure, veteran services, education security, and quality of life right here in our community. Paula is committed to delivering real results for every resident in House District 47. Stay tuned for the final outcome!
